Video adverts on Facebook are still one of the best performing ads a dropshipper can use. However, it’s also a very good way to spy on your competition! It’s also very simple to do.

Simply load up Facebook and In the top bar search a keyword such as “buy it now.” Click on “videos,” and you will see loads of adverts from dropshippers pop-up. You can do this with multiple keywords, here are just a few of them:

The only limit to this is your imagination, just try and use keywords you’ve seen pop up frequently. You can then follow the links to the sellers stores and see what other products they’re selling too.

Paid Tools

There are plenty of tools that will help you with product research as well as spying on your competitors.

We’ve done very in-depth reviews on most of them, which you can find here. Specifically, for store spying, its worth checkout out our Pexgle and Sell The Trend reviews. As both offer extensive tools that help you find Shopify dropshipping stores.

Finding Dropshipping Products To Sell

The methods above for finding dropshipping stores can be used the same way to find winning products. However, if you choose to use the Facebook video ads method, we would recommend that you filter the date range to be 1 or 2 months as you want to find hot products.

Personally, for product research, we recommend trying out a paid tool. We’ve created a mini-guide which can help you pick which tool is best for you.

Conclusion

We hope that gives some of you a bit of inspiration on what might be missing in your stores.

One thing that we noticed with the majority of these stores is their simplicity. The designs are all very simple and focused on one thing, which is to sell the product.

Most of the stores also seem to use the green buy it now button. Optinmonster has a full article on which button color converts best, which is a very interesting subject that is often overlooked!

Good luck with your store, and thanks for reading!
