When it comes to scaling your dropshipping business, you must begin to automate tasks that begin sucking away your time from the highest leverage activities. For instance, if you have to manually place 30 orders a day, answer customer emails and update tracking information on your Shopify platform, that’ll take you probably 1 to 2 hours at minimum per day. That’s valuable time that you can be working on to source better products or fine-tune your ads. Why not simply use an order fulfillment plugin to automatically place orders for you? In this article, we’ll go over a few plugins to automatically handle drop ship orders.

Dropified

dropified

For Shopify dropshipping, dropified has been the go-to source plugin for fulfilling orders. Dropified is an app that integrates with your store, so it’ll take all the product listings you have and orders and display them on the Dropified app.

Dropified allows you to seamlessly add the supplier link directly to their platform, import photos directly to your product listings, edit the product description, and publish the product directly from Dropified.

Once you’ve received an order from a customer, Dropified will copy automatically go and place the order on your supplier’s website. Dropified will then create a note and update tracking when available. Once tracking is available, it’ll record the data onto Shopify, and Shopify will notify the customer.

It also has other cool features, such as being able to add multiple stores, tracking your profits, and being able to add many users to their platform.

Pros:

  • Excellent value – $47 per month gives you access to 5 users
  • 14 Day Free Trial
  • Integrates with Zapier
  • Automatically tracks updates in changes in supplier prices and out of stock

Cons:

  • No free plans
  • Not ideal if you’re not using Aliexpress to source products

Oberlo

oberlo

Oberlo works very similarly to Dropified, where you can find products from Oberlo or Aliexpress, have them exported into their platform. From there, once you receive an order, it will automatically place the order for you on Aliexpress and update the tracking to notify the customer on their shipping status. Oberlo is generally a cheaper option giving you a free plan which gives you limited access.

However, Dropified does provide much more in-depth features such as AliExtractor, a product research tool, the ability to auto place orders for bundled products and in batches, autosave Aliexpress order I.D., able to add multiple users to this platform and much more.

Pros:

  • Good free plan to start
  • Easy importing

Cons:

  • Can’t add multiple users to their platform without their Pro plan at $79.90 per month
  • Integrates with only Shopify, not other e-commerce platforms
  • Need separate accounts to manage multiple stores

Spocket

spocket

Spocket is a unique fulfillment plugin that integrates with Shopify and Woocommerce platforms. This app differentiates itself by primarily focusing on suppliers outside of just Aliexpress, such as the U.S., E.U, U.K, Australia, and New Zealand suppliers. One of the biggest complaints about dropshipping is the long delivery time and low-quality products that are shipped from China. This plugin aims to solve that issue.

In fact, most customers receive their orders between two to five days! They also have their own selection of products, including print on demands goods. Spocket also gives you the capability to order samples from the suppliers prior to selling them.

Pros:

  • Suppliers from the U.S. and E.U. with faster shipping times
  • One-click import
  • Automated Order Fulfillment
  • Automatically updates tracking and inventory
  • Free plan available up to 25 unique products

Cons:

  • Can’t directly contact Spoket suppliers
  • Unable to customize packaging
  • Limited to Primarily Shopify and WooCommerce and missing other platforms

AliDropship

alidropship

AliDropship is another unique plugin that is aimed towards turning your WordPress site into an e-commerce store. This plugin gives you the capability to import Aliexpress products into your WordPress website. There’s also a separate plugin that integrates with WooCommerce. This plugin only charges a one time fee of $89. You’re able to import products with one click, auto-fulfill orders, import aliexpress reviews, and have built-in e-commerce product page themes.

The main drawback is that it doesn’t work with Shopify. But for those that are good with WordPress and have good SEO abilities, you’re able to easily sell products on your website. For example, let’s say you have a pet blog that has tons of highly optimized SEO content that ranks on the first page of google. Now you can not only plug your site with affiliate links but also dropship pet products from Aliexpress too.

Pros:

  • One time fee of $89
  • Able to manage multiple stores at once
  • Import product reviews

Cons:

  • Doesn’t work with Shopify
  • Only text and forum support

Pluggin To Automatically Handle Drop Ship Orders – Our Verdict.

In our opinion, we believe Dropified is the best plugin to automatically handle drop ship orders. There are many ways to dropship, such as from eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Facebook Shops, WooCommerce, and others. But by far, the most popular is Shopify Dropshipping.

For beginners to intermediate, it’s easiest to just get started by dropshipping using Aliexpress products. Sure, the shipping times aren’t ideal, but from a profit standpoint, you’re easily able to cash in on hot selling aliexpress products that your competitors are selling. With Dropified, it gives you the best features in one tool. Personally, I love how you can add up to 5 users on just their basic plan. Having virtual assistants is a necessity when it comes to dropshipping. I also like their profit tracking feature, so you can easily track your profit margins on each sale. This is not only useful for accounting purposes but also for marketing decisions. By being able to closely analyze your profits, you can make pivotal marketing decisions.

Why You May Consider Spocket:

One reason for considering Spocket is if you’re doing print on Demand or you’d like to stand out from your competition. When you’re more experienced as a dropshipper, you may get tired of dropshippers undercutting your prices and copying your ads. In this case, you can find unique products on Spocket that most dropshippers can’t find on their own. This gives you a competitive advantage. Not to mention, you’re delivering products within 2 to 5 days. Just consider that you’ll have to pay a higher cost for U.S. and E.U. suppliers.
